- The United States Bankruptcy Court Clerk’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana will be closed on Friday, December 19, 2008 between 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The office will be closed all day Thursday and Friday, December 25 and 26, 2008, in observance of the Christmas holiday. The office will be closed all day Thursday and Friday, January 1 and 2, 2009, in observance of the New Year’s holiday.

- Due to Hurricane Gustav, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana is closed. We will reopen on Monday, September 8, 2008. All deadlines are suspended until that time.
- The motion day hearings for Section A scheduled for September 9, 2008 are cancelled. All matters set for hearing on Section A's calendar for September 9, 2008 will be rescheduled to September 23, 2008 at the regular scheduled hearing times.
