In April 2017, the United States Supreme Court officially adopted a recommendation from the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure approving an Official Form for Chapter 13 Plans (Official Form 113) which will become effective on December 1, 2017.
As of that date, new Official Form 113 will be required as the new form plan in all districts, unless the district adopts a local Chapter 13 form plan that complies with new Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 3015.1. The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana proposes adopting a local form plan, which can be accessed here or through the link below:
The public is encouraged to submit written comments on the plan to laebch13comments@laeb.uscourts.gov. The Court will consider all comments submitted through October 20, 2017.
