Loan Modification Management (LMM) Program

Effective October 1, 2024, the Eastern District of Louisiana Bankruptcy Court has established the voluntary Loan Modification Management (LMM) Program. General Order 2024-3 implements this program and provides procedures for the process.

Register here for LMM virtual training session hosted by Stretto. Training will be held via Zoom on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 12 p.m. (CST).

Overview:

The LMM Program is designed to function as a forum for debtors and creditors to reach a consensual resolution when a debtor’s property is at risk of foreclosure. The goal of the LMM Program is to facilitate communication and an exchange of information in a confidential setting and to encourage the parties to finalize a feasible and beneficial agreement under the supervision of the Court.
