Motion Day Calendars

The clerk’s office sends out an e-mail a few days before each motion day that contains a link to the final motion day calendar. The final calendar contains the matters that will actually come up for hearing. Save yourself an unnecessary trip to court, and look at the final calendar as sent out by the clerk’s office.

To receive advance notice of the motion day calendars, send an e-mail to with the name and the e-mail address(es) to be included.

Chapter 7, 11, & 12 motions including motions for relief from stay should be set as follows:

  • 2:00 p.m. - All motions except Motion to Extend the Automatic Stay*

Chapter 13 motions should be set as follows:

  • 8:25 a.m. - Debtor's Motions for Entry of Discharge
  • 9:00 a.m. - Trustee Motions
  • 10:00 a.m. - Debtor/Creditor Motions
  • 11:00 a.m. - Plan Confirmations

*All Motions to Extend the Automatic Stay should be scheduled at 2:00 p.m on the Monday preceding each Motion Day. (Debtor MUST be present)

  • 2:00 p.m. - Motions to Extend Automatic Stay (Debtor Must Be Present)
  • 2:30 p.m. - Motions for Relief from Stay (only for chapter 13 cases)
